The BloomWorks Care Model
For Young Adults. Adults, & Couples

Understand.Plan.Support.
For Young Adults, Adults & Couples
Challenges in functioning are often shaped by the interaction of individual factors, relationships, health, and daily life demands. At BloomWorks, care is grounded in understanding the full context of each individual’s experience, including development, medical history, relationships, and day-to-day functioning across school, work, and home environments. Services are provided within a medical psychology framework, integrating psychological and medical factors to support functioning, adjustment, and overall well-being. Care is informed by an ecological model of development, recognizing that functioning and well-being are shaped by the interaction of individual, relational, and environmental factors.
Services include:
- Evaluation and intervention for tic disorders and Tourette syndrome
- Diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions, including anxiety and mood disorders
- Individual therapy for life transitions, identity development, and role changes
- Couples therapy addressing communication, relationship functioning, and shared life transitions
- Medical psychology services for adjustment to medical conditions and ongoing health concerns
- Consultation for college and workplace accommodations based on medical or educational criteria
- The focus of care is to support improved functioning, clear understanding of presenting concerns, and meaningful, sustained change in daily life.
