For Children, Teens & Families
Adulthood often brings a complex layering of responsibilities, relationships, health, and identity. At times, patterns that once worked no longer fit, or new challenges emerge that require a different kind of understanding and support.
At BloomWorks, care begins with a comprehensive understanding of your experience, including personal history, medical factors, relationships, work or academic demands, and day-to-day functioning. Services are provided within a medical psychology framework, integrating clinical, behavioral, and health-based perspectives to support functioning and overall well-being. Care is informed by an ecological model, recognizing that well-being is shaped by the interaction of individual, relational, and broader environmental systems.
Services include:
• Evaluation and treatment of Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders, including Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)
• Evaluation and treatment of anxiety, mood concerns, and emotional regulation
• Medical psychology services supporting adjustment to medical diagnoses and chronic health conditions
• Consultation and recommendations for workplace or academic functioning, including accommodations and performance support
• Support for relationship dynamics, including partners and family systems when relevant
The goal of care is to improve functioning, provide a clearer understanding of presenting concerns, and support meaningful, lasting change in everyday life.
